# Clearing the Browser Cache

#### Browser Cache

The cache consists of temporary files (images, scripts, styles) saved by the browser from websites. The purpose is to load pages faster on subsequent visits, as the files are already stored locally.

#### Why should we clear it?

* **View Updates** – Sometimes the browser shows an old version from the cache.
* **Troubleshooting** – Corrupted cache can cause errors.\
  You can check the updated version of the application in the **bottom left corner**.

* **Mac:** Cmd + Shift + R

**Clearing the Cache from the Browser Menu:**
